He entered the world of music in the 90s, working for almost 10 years in the record labels EMI , Warner and Sony Music and coordinating the promotional activity of artists on radio and television.

 

During the period of collaboration with Emi he worked with artists such as Vasco Rossi, Queen, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Paul McCartney, Francesco Guccini, Roberto Vecchioni, Franco Battiato, Iron Maiden , and many others.

In the subsequent period spent in the Warner group (CGD) he worked with artists such as Laura Pausini, Irene Grandi, Pino Daniele, Raf, Pooh, Nomadi, Enrico Ruggeri, Umberto Tozzi , and many others. During 1996 he also temporarily held the position of Exploitation Manager, taking care of the foreign promotion activity of Italian artists.

Germano Dantone

In 1997 he accepted Rudy Zerb 's invitation to join the Sony Music team in coordinating the promotion of the Epic label. In this period he collaborated with artists such as Renato Zero, Spagna, Massimo Di Cataldo, Patty Pravo, Loredana Bertè and others.

The recording experience combined with his passion as a musician led him to change sector in 1998 by accepting Marco Volontè 's invitation to collaborate with the music publisher Carisch . He initially assumed the role of Product Manager and since 2006 has held the position of Editorial Manager of the company which in 2002 came under the control of the Monzino Group from the previous ownership of the Warner Music group.

 

Coordinates the artistic and editorial production activity and the related staff operating in the Italian, Spanish and French offices. In recent years he has contributed to the growth of the Carisch catalog by collaborating with authors such as Massimo Varini, Roberto Fabbri, Andrea Cappellari, Maria Vacca, Franco Concina, Giovanni Allevi, Roberto Cacciapaglia, Stefano Bollani, Andrea Braido, Franco Morone, Beppe Gambetta, Pietro Nobile, Maurizio Colonna, Franco Rossi, Attilio Zanchi, Marco Caudai, Paolo Anessi and many others.

With the purchase of the Carisch catalog by the British group Music Sales, he assumed the role of Product Manager for Italy, Spain and France for approximately 3 years.

In 2018 he founded Dantone Edizioni e Musica.
